Vegas is a land full of the mega-nightclubs, so although popular in such hot cities as LA, Miami, and New York, a nightclub boutique is a brand new concept to Vegas. Basically it means the maximum capacity tops off at just over a few hundred. But don't expect you'll get a shortage in fun, what you will except (and receive) is better service and a shorter wait for one of Hyde's specialty cocktail drinks.
Since opening night when Hyde hosted a party for IGA records, the same night as MTV's music video awards, Hyde has been a haven for celebrities. This is the nightclub that hosted the friendly competition between Kobe Bryant and Poker player Antonio Esfandiari, on who could buy the most bottles of Cristal. Kobe along with such stars as Pamela Anderson, are becoming frequent visitors.
But if you can't find a celebrity to ogle at, you'll still have plenty in the club to feast your eyes upon. Lighting up the club are 300 individual color-changing lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and the dance floor, made of lit onyx is stunning. If the weather in Vegas is nice, step out Hyde's patio, which includes seating and another bar.
